Welcome to Games @ NC State University

This site describes the research and educational opportunities in game design, development, theory, and application at North Carolina State University.

A range of academic units at NC State have courses that pertain to some facet of games, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. Our Courses section outlines the courses available, including information on the content of the classes and how each releates to the study of games.

The groups, centers and laboratories on campus performing research related to games are listed in the Research section and information about the stong local game industry in North Carolina. NC State also hosts many seminars and workshops, guest speakers and other game-related events in and around campus.
